Smythe Equestrian Blazer

I replicated this outfit, everything about it is just so classic. Too soon?

the Lands’ End cashmere crewneck sweater

Since Gap quit carrying cashmere and moreover tall cashmere, Lands’ End is my tall cashmere connection. The price fluctuates somewhere in the mid-to-high $100, not so expensive for cashmere. It tends to be on promotion quite frequently.

The Lands’ End Cashmere Crewneck Sweater is a wardrobe workhorse, which is why I own it in both ivory and black. It is available in a plethora of hues which I believe switch up every year.

I am wearing a size medium tall.

the Smythe equestrian blazer

Ever since spying Serena van der Woodsen in a Smythe blazer circa 2009, I have been obsessed with contemporary brand from the United States’ upstairs neighbor. While the blazers are most definitely a splurge item, my acquisitions have exclusively been on sale via stockists of the brand: Nordstrom and ShopBop.

I am wearing a size sixteen.

the J.Crew midi double serge wool skirt

I ordered this skirt at the end of last year and it is already making its second appearance on the blog. The length is perfect for the tall gal; it is not available in tall but because it is designed to be longer than a mini, it does not have to be. It is made of wool and not some crap synthetic. It just feels so much more expensive than what I paid for it.

I am wearing a size twelve in this skirt.
