As of this week, I landed at the ten minute Nike Run Club guided run. That means, as I have completed ten of these, the increase from one to the next is a mere minute. Baby steps!
Soon the minute by minute increase guided runs will end, in favor by something less consistent. However, the minimal increments are easier to manage, especially for a novice runner or someone, like myself, just coming back to exercise after having a baby. By the time the increases grow, I will recapture confidence, my stride, and hopefully eventually, a runner’s high.
The bite size sweat sessions are easy to check off the to-do list, specifically first thing in the morning. Nothing kicks off a day better!
