Does your style differ from your nine-to-five to your weekend, and if so, how?

I try to stick true to my style, even when I need to have a very casual, comfy study day for grad school. I typically always wear a dress or skirt, and have a nice collection of striped T-shirt dresses for my comfy days. I do like to wear leggings, and my fave J. Crew sweaters when it is a very lazy study day. I basically always wear pearls!

Who are your style influences and what qualities about them impact you?

I think I have to attribute my style mojo to Carrie Bradshaw. The girl has amazing style, and can pull off anything she wears. I was always known as the “fashionista” amongst my friends, and it was decided that my SATC character would be Carrie. I do, however, get a lot of style inspiration from Charlotte York on SATC. She is the classic, preppy, timeless look I strive for.

Another huge style influence of mine has been Audrey Hepburn. Her ability to take very simple pieces, and make such a chic look is something I have always strived for. She also adds pearls to any outfit, and I have taken serious inspiration from this. I also like how she can mold herself into anything, like singing and dancing as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, which is one of my favorite movies!

A more recent influence of my style that I want to mention is Sarah Vickers. She has that classic New England vibe, with mixing in some more contemporary classic pieces. She is very inventive with her own style, and love that she has a Jackie O.-esque flair about it. She and her husband also have a great clothing brand, Kiel James Patrick, and some of my favorite pieces are from this collection.

If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A skirt, a button-up shirt or striped shirt, and flats of some sort. And, pearls, don’t forget the pearls!

Who is your {favorite} photographer?

Bob Willoughby. He has such a classic sense of photography, and has taken iconic photos of Marilyn Monroe, and Audrey Hepburn. I love the old Hollywood feel of his work because I love to feel a vintage touch with my own style. There is also an entire portfolio of Audrey Hepburn photos taken by Willoughby.  I am not completely sure what camera he used, but I have to believe it was film.

Who is your photographer and what camera does he/she use?

Friends or family take my photographs, and I use a Nikon D3500. Mostly, my friend Aleesha does the photography.
