The Black Friday Sale at Mignon Faget went live this morning. That is correct, we get Black Friday nearly an entire week before the day it is traditionally recognized. I am amped for this shift in the retail schedule not only because the 25% off sitewide is a fantastic deal for everything from the fine jeweler, but I am also excited to get all of my Christmas shopping out of the way before I even have to worry about preparing Thanksgiving dinner. This earlier sale relieves the stress that comes with preparing gifts.
We can all acknowledge that 2020 has been a difficult year and along with taking care of one’s family, I stand by taking care of oneself. Usually this translates to a spa day but until a vaccine is widely available and scientists advise that it is safe, I will not be stepping into a spa. While my preferred love language from my husband is words of affirmation and acts of service, my love language to myself is gift giving. It is time to show myself some love.
Pearls have always been a staple in my jewelry box. Not only the standard sixteen inch strand but also less conventional, iconoclastic versions. I already have the Mignon Faget Tulip Pearl Necklace and the Knotted Pearl Necklace, and matching earrings and bracelets and rings, but I have had my eye on something bolder.
I bought the Banner Ring back in 2011. I did not purchase any matching pieces because at the time it was standalone within the Knots and Bows collection. I do not think it was until 2017 that the matching bracelet was issued and the necklace was available shortly thereafter, or at least that is when they landed on my radar. I always had my eye on that coordinating Twist Bow Bracelet and Twist Bow Earrings (necklace, too), but as they are on the pricier side, it was always out of my budget. With the 25% Black Friday Sale, even the most luxe items are accessible.
