Tall Tuesday: Shirtdress

The shirtdress is just one of those styles that has the potential to accentuate every way an article of clothing can possibly be ill-fitting. Long sleeves tugging up forearms, waistlines creeping up to bustlines only to be emphasized by a sash contained by empire waist high sashloops, and hemlines exposing more leg than one would like. It is what I refer to as the three plagues of the shirtdress.

I, for one, have never been able to wear a standard size range shirtdress. Luckily, retailers have become hip to the tall fam demand for tall range shirtdresses. May we never be plagued by short long sleeves and rogue waistlines and hemlines again.
