The Loveshackfancy Corbella dress almost instantly sold out despite a rather demanding price tag. I stalked my size, put my email on a list, and bought it as soon as it became available.
the Loveshackfancy Corbella dress
When I spotted this frock online, I knew I had to have it. The fabric and detailing make it one hundred percent worth the steep price tag. It is the dreamiest watercolor tie dye eyelet and pintuck tiered silk, lined with a light crisp pink cotton, and has an up-to-here waist line slit. Small clear zip ties secured the sides of the slip at that slit. I eliminated the threat of wardrobe malfunction.
This is my go-to size, though I probably should have gone down a size. (A trend, could I finally be losing the baby weight?)
The founder of the brand, Rebecca Hessel Cohen, is inspired by vintage. Countless copycat brands have popped up knocking off the Loveshackfancy look by way of prints, albeit at a more palatable price point. It is difficult to discern a knockoff from a genuine item. You know when you are wearing it, though! Loveshackfancy just feels special and, well, fancy.
the Lapima Teresa sunglasses
Meet my favorite brand of sunglasses. Wife and husband team, Gisela and Gustav Assis, established Lapima in 2016. The frames of the Brazilian-based brand are crafted of Italian acetate, hinges from Germany, and lenses from France. The current frames feature earth tones, but I love the pastel shades of seasons past. The Teresa style and Lisa style are my favorites, the former was the perfect match to the tie dye Loveshackfancy Corbella maxi dress.
