Hidden Jorts

I broke my streak of dressing myself strictly in caftans and dresses for a pair of jorts and a tunic. This look may only be described as “trustafarian.”

Calypso Henrika Tunic

I have obsessively worn this bohemian tunic since the initial procurement prior to July Fourth weekend back in 2016. While it is beautiful in photos, it is even more stunning in person. It has delicate pink beading along the neckline and the wrists which has help up remarkably well over the past six years. It is just sheer enough to show your swimsuit underneath. Although I am 6’2″, I can get away with the length of a medium. While the tunic is long gone, it can still be found these days via eBay.

Agolde Parker Long Shorts

I discovered the best denim cutoff short for the tall gal. The AGOLDE Parker Short comes in a long option and when I tell you it is ideal for the six foot, two inch frame, I am not kidding.

The brand AGOLDE might seem familiar because it sounds like Adriano Goldschmied. Goldschmied could be credited with leading the premium denim boom of the 2000s. He was the genius behind AG Denim, Diesel, the 1969 Gap line, and more. Like past brands, his latest project, AGOLDE, is based in Los Angeles. This ostensibly is part of the price driver behind the shorts, but believe me when I tell you that the AGOLDE Parker Long Short is worth the price tag.
