My E-ring Fits Again! 29

I know that it will soon be too cold on the Central Asia steppe to continue to enjoy running outside, so I started running through the park again this week. In an ambitious move, I jump started with a long run. Color me ouch the next morning! Consequently, rather than an immediate follow up run or strength training routine, I opted for two walks. Both were guided walks via the NRC. I did not necessarily need the guided portion but it was nice to have Coach Bennett chiming in with form reminders as I hobbled through the two miles.

In reverse chronological order, these are the runs from the NRC in which I have enjoyed:

  • 3K Walk Backs // 3k meters
  • Fifteen Minute Headstarts // 15 minutes
  • A New Run // 25 minutes
  • Today’s 30 Minute Walk // 30 minutes
  • First Long Run // 35 minutes
  • unguided run // 20 minutes
  • Next Run // 22 minutes
  • Fifteen Minute Run // 15 minutes
  • Running for More: Purpose // 20 minutes
  • Celebration Run // 25 minute run
  • Tough Day Easy Run // 20 minute run
  • First Run // 20 minute run
  • Running for More: Connections // 25 minute run

I was sore after the several set of one hundreds last Friday, but it was a good soreness. This Friday I added another exercise to my one hundreds. In addition to the 25 pound Bala Beam weighted squats, deadlifts, and chest presses, I did calf raises. Next week I am adding curls with five pound dumbells.

Let’s meet back here next week, same time same place, for a check in?
