Year of Less (330/365)

Seven orders this week:

  • I ordered three waterdrop bottles to be shipped to a friend’s home in the states. I have a stockpile in his basement that we are going to pickup upon our return stateside. These bottles are in different sizes and different Emilia Wickstead designs. On top of the sale price, I was able to apply at fifteen percent off discount code. If you are into it, this link will get you fifteen dollars off any purchase over 35 dollars.
  • Speaking of Emilia Wickstead, I finally pulled the trigger on one of the dresses from the brand. It was on markdown via Matchesfashion. I would not have been able to stomach the price otherwise. The print matches one of the bottles I bought.
  • The Pamper Pirate adores Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang. He was thrilled with the Snoopy Halloween tee I ordered on markdown, so I ordered three more tees featuring the iconic puppy.
  • I ordered myself and the Pamper Pirate each a set of pajamas from Hill House Home. I bought myself the pink colorway and the mini the blue colorway, both the same print. I am fairly certain that they will fit and as such, not concerned about a return window so I had them shipped to our friend’s home.
  • As soon as the Net-a-Porter sale started, I finally jumped on a Lisa Marie Fernandez high waist bikini and swim cardigan because you cannot have one without the other.
  • I ordered a sports bra, workout legging, and workout shirt to be delivered to my friend’s house. Another package for the stockpile. I know I am going to need to keep training for the half marathon and have no idea how long our parcels are going to take to get back to the states.
  • I ordered the J.Crew Louisa Lady Jacket in a size twelve and fourteen. After spying on it since September, it went on sale for the first time ever and I did not want to chance ordering the wrong size. I also ordered the cream wool midi skirt as it was available in a twelve, my size, for the first time in weeks. I already ordered the navy colorway, and was consequently wowed by it. Read on below for more…

So many fabulous orders arrived. I will be returning none of it.

  • As mentioned above, the Pamper Pirate is obsessed with the Snoopy Halloween knit shirt. Even though it is a size too large, as I purchased it on markdown for next year, he immediately donned the long sleeve tee and demanded a viewing of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.
  • First, let’s talk long pants. Holy esh. These trouser cut jacquard pants from Banana Republic are everything I hoped they would be. they look a lot more expensive than what I paid for them. Waiting for the (wait for it) matching crop top to arrive.
  • The bootcut corduroy pants are fantastic. These are the pants I initially ordered in a ten tall in “Tandoori Orange.” Unfortunately those were too small. After stalking them, I was able to make a tall twelve score in the black. I already have black cords but these are wide wale and quite different from the skinny wale pair I already own. I would say that they are very trouser like, rather than bootcut; however the product photo illustrates the pant accurately
  • Speaking of exchanging merchandise, I originally ordered these Mavi Kendra straight leg denim in a size 30. Those were too small. The size 31 fit perfectly. I adore the straight leg fit.
  • I love the J.Crew midi wool skirt so much that I immediately checked the website for availability in the cream colorway. Lo and behold after weeks of being sold out in a 12, said size was available and on sale. I cannot understate this: I love the cut of this skirt. Not pencil, not mini, and on a tall gal, not a true midi. This skirt is just perfect for a tall frame.
  • Two sports bras and three pairs of leggings arrived. Just in time too, because I signed up for a half marathon in April. Cue incessant chatter about the half marathon.

I have to make two returns.
