L.L.Bean Flannel Tartan PJ Redux

Did you know that that L.L.Bean has a tall size range in ladies’ clothing?

the L.L.Bean flannel tartan pajamas

I ordered myself a set of flannel pajamas in tall, as well as the men’s version for my husband last holiday. (Not matching, I swear! I picked the Scotch tartan for myself and the Black Watch tartan for my husband.)

The drawstring pants are roomier than the shirt. As a pear shape, I rarely find this to be the case. Because the pant waist has the drawstring, I could easily go up to a size extra large, in order to maximize on comfort for the top half. If I buy another set, and I might when we return to the states, I will order the extra large. I just prefer to throw pajamas in the dryer on low rather than line dry them.

Sold as a set, I am wearing a size large tall in these pajamas.

the L.L.Bean wicked good slippers

I have been through several pairs of these exact L.L.Bean Wicked Good Slippers. Lasting two to three years per pair, I retire them at the end of each of my husband’s assignments.

I am wearing a size ten in my slippers; they fit true to size.

In Kazakhstan where the floors are radiant albeit spottily so, I am in my slippers when I am not wearing a pair of compression socks. My husband changes into his as soon as he returns home from work. We encourage the Pamper Pirate to wear his as often as he is at home as well.
