Fewer + Better (121/365)

This past week, I lost at the April no shopping challenge.

I ordered another ring from the Nails by Mei x J.Crew collaboration. It was one of the styles that I ordered in a size seven only to discover that it was too small for my fingers. After wearing the one I was especially taken with in person and reordering it in an eight, I opted to reorder my other favorite.

From J.Crew, I also ordered the Pamper Pirate two Snoopy tee shirts. (Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang is his favorite.) I ordered myself white five inch inseam chino shorts in two different sizes. While I have the same shorts in pale blue, lavender, and faded coral, those are somewhere in storage. I know I will need shorts soon and have no idea when we will be getting our stuff out of storage. As they are white, as long as they are not see-through, I will be leaning on them as a staple this summer.

A tunic that I was obsessed with circa quarantine 2020 mysteriously became available in a limited size run. Yes, three years later! It was also marked down over one hundred dollars. I do not even care if the print is emblematic of that particular season; I love this style tunic and I love that print. It feels optimistic to wear an item from quarantine-era as a reminder of how far we have come.

My Stubbs & Wootton spring sale purchase arrived and I love them! They are my first pair of needlepoint slippers; whereas my four pairs of velvet loafers and two pairs of flannel loafers are not especially perfect for hot hot weather, the needlepoint slippers are.
