I recall back between 2013 and 2016, I used to walk past the Karen Millen brick and mortar location in Georgetown every morning on my way up Wisconsin to the old Donohoe office. I longingly looked at the storefront and beyond at clothing that I just knew would not accommodate my six foot two inch tall frame. Water water everywhere, and not a drop to drink.
Who knew that the Karen Millen brand began producing tall size range clothing? This recent discovery has presented infinite solutions to the tall girl’s wardrobe issues. I love that so many of the pieces are made sans synthetic fabrics in lieu of wool, cashmere, cotton, and linen.
This week, outerwear. Now is the time to buy as so many of the pieces are both of classic shapes, never to go out of style, as well as being marked down.
