Ordering monogrammed items can be tricky. The personalization makes the item unreturnable, so you better hope you have the correct size. Luckily, I am quite familiar with my favorite brand of sleepwear and can accurately predict my size in Petite Plume.
In honor of taking a big trip to the hospital soon, I ordered two personalized hospital gowns, in a size large/extra large. Petite Plume was kind enough to expedite shipping on my orders as soon as I started doubting that the gowns would arrive prior to baby. They, and the sets of Par Avion pajamas that I ordered my husband, the pilot, and the boys, the pilot’s sons, made it in time for Valentine’s Day. Lastly, and least pressing, the maternity gown arrived. This is the second maternity gown I purchased, first being the navy stripe colorway, and I knew that I wanted to go down an entire size from large to medium as the first one I ordered was slightly too large. Much better fit!
Fit-wise, while the maternity gown is a great length for the tall gal, the hospital gown does run a bit short. Not a huge deal though! When one is giving birth, the shorter the hospital gown, the easier for the doctor to access. Let’s get that baby out of there, shall we?
