There is something to getting out first thing in the morning, and getting a few steps under one’s feet no matter how brief. First, you can check exercise off the to-do list. Second, it is in a sequence where you don’t feel the need to take an additional shower so it is time and resource efficient. Lastly, the temperature is at one of the lowest it will be all day in the morning. In the summer, this is crucial.
Based on these three points alone, I encourage everyone to get out early in the am. Even if not a jog or run, get a head start on the day with some steps!
