My first and only crop top ever comes in tall size range. I only gave it a shot because I am a sucker for sets, i.e. The Hookup.
Banana Republic Racer Poplin Top
This crop top is great because, rather than having to complete the ever-challenging task of shimmying oneself through a non-to-minimally stretch fabric top, there is a back zipper which allows for an easier negotiation of donning said shirt. No worries about rubbing off makeup on the neckline here! Along with the a hook and eye closure, this top wears with ease.
There are two negatives to this too. First, the nature of the cotton poplin highlights any perspiration. Second, the darts are similar, albeit less extreme, to those on Anna Hathaway’s 2012 Pink Prada Oscars dress. You know what I mean and if you don’t just Google it.
Also, who the heck do I think I am I wearing a crop top fourteen weeks postpartum? I blame the structured nature of the top, largely due to the cotton poplin fabric. No clingy stretch knit here! If Charlotte York or Blair Waldorf wore a crop top, this one would be it.

Banana Republic Ariella Poplin Midi Skirt
Charlotte York or Blair Waldorf most definitely would be wearing said crop top with matching full midi-length cotton poplin skirt. The fabric is just so freaking great. Crisp AF. Design features also include a banded and gathered waistline, slash pockets, and interior lining in the same color of the skirt. (Note that the crop top does not feature lining. Not an issue on the blue colorway, but could be an issue in the white colorway.)
I am wearing this skirt in a size fourteen. It does not come in a tall size range, but I do not find that extra length to be necessary.
