I continued to resist the Napdress in lieu of the Hill House Home Laura dress.
the hill house home Laura dress
I might be the last woman on earth to not have indulged in a Hill House Home Napdress. Aside from not loving the style as well as the ubiquity of it, the Napdress hit the market around the time I had a newborn i.e. when I never had time to sleep throughout the night, let alone nap. All that is to say is that I feel triggered simply by the name of the dress.
I ordered this Hill House Home Laura dress while we were living in Kazakhstan. Even though this dress did not have the ideal fit for the tall gal, I kept it to avoid the inconvenience of sending it back. I like that the dress is linen but it does require a slip. Fit-wise, I don’t not love how short it is or where the waistline hem hits. Note that there are belt loops on either side. I removed the self belt because the waistline nearly hit the bustline. The coordinating self belt effectively made an empire waist. Consequently, I ditched the tie.
I am wearing the Hill House Home Laura dress in a size extra large.
the krewe octavia sunglasses
Krewe used to make the most bitchin’ sunglasses. The second these Octavia frames were released, I knew I needed them, and not just because Beyoncé was spotted in them. Rather than the plume colorway that Queen B was photographed wearing, I selected the rose gold hardware with rose gold frames.
I miss the Krewe oversized shades of days of yore.
