Last week was my first week resuming Barry’s after an injury-provoked hiatus. My knee felt wonky after sitting on it during an AMC viewing of the Garfield movie with Petit Garçon. (Tell me you are aging without telling me you are aging, am I right?) The timing was serendipitous as my husband left the country for a long string of days and we had not yet sent the baby to daycare. As my husband just returned from Africa, my knee was feeling better.
As my husband took vacation the better part of his week back, I took the opportunity to schedule a few Barry’s classes, and as you see below, I really pushed myself. I tend to shy away from the treadmill in lieu of double floor. If I am going to hit my goal of jogging five miles within an hour, I know that I need to start running. As my husband is back in the office this week, I will continue with early morning runs of the Nike Guided variety.
