I uncovered these Dr. Scholl’s x Free People sandals about a month ago. Since then, I kept them on my radar for a sale or promotion. Both colorways (peep either link for the denim-ish version) are on what seems to be permanent markdown via Free People; however, the size selection is – rightfully – picked over.
I ordered the eyelet version in a size ten. This was an optimistic move on my part as I was last a safe and solid size ten pre-first baby. Nevertheless, as it was sold out in a size eleven, I gave the ten a shot. Unfortunately, not only do these sandals not fit but they run especially small. Keep that in mind when ordering.
I waiting a few weeks for the sandals to go on a similar promotion via the Dr. Scholl’s site because the shoes are just that adorable in person. I love the brassy hardware, specifically the three starburst-shaped grommets on either side of the sandal, fastening the fabric to the wood sole. I envision wearing these with long denim cutoff shorts and a peasant shirt. Boom, Stevie Nicks style!
