I Bought It / I Like It

I ordered a few things from Lacoste for Petit Garçon and Bebe Deux. I rarely buy anything for them from the OG purveyor of preppy athleisure, alas there was an extra twenty percent off sale.

Recently, I noted that the size four in the Lacoste youth polo shirt was looking rather cropped on my oldest. I took a gander at the Lacoste website for marked down colors. While the orange was sold out in size five, the bright blue was still available with an extra twenty percent off.

I have been shopping Gap and Banana Republic, like a madwoman lately. These brands have been producing the best tall size range selections.

I realized that I did not have a black cotton cardigan; it was something I needed to cover my shoulders over sundresses at the office and this one is made of natural fibers and available in tall size range. I wearing mine in a size large tall.

The mesh shirt and the sleeveless funnel shirt both remind me of what I wore circa 1999 to 2001. I needed both in the name of nostalgia. I ordered both in size large tall and needed to return them for a size extra large tall.

The extra large tall pink organic cotton oxford shirt dress is a slam dunk. It is a touch too large but I like the look with either the self belt or any one from my arsenal of waist wear. I was moved to order it in the blue.

Lastly from Gap, I ordered large tall organic cotton vintage tee shirts in gray and black. The cut is ideal for any woman topping six feet and I will leave it at that.

I paired both of the tee shirts with a Banana Republic size large off white (ahem, “vanilla”) sequin skirt cut on the bias. I previously ordered and returned it while it was full price. I did not love it for the plus hundred dollar price tag. I love it for fifty dollars, though.

I love the Banana Republic relaxed flare jeans for full price. With a 36.5 inch inseam, I would have probably paid double or at the very least stalked for a sale.
