After a rather lengthy maternity leave, preceded by four years working remotely, I went back to the office full time. Not to sound ungrateful because I am glad to have six months time to bond with the newest member of our family, but I was ready to return to on site work. I was able to be incredibly productive in my home office but I am ready to make my home feel more like home, less like office. Balance, you know?
I watched or passively listened to a lot of daytime television in the last four years. GMA, Live! With Kelly and Mark, The View, and all of the local ABC affiliate Action news. One thing that I clocked was that Kelly Ripa wears the exact same pump every day on her show. Forget Sketchers Shape-Ups (Broad City “Coat Check”, Dominos for later, IYKYK), she is a Gianvito Rossi gal.
No matter the day, no matter the outfit, Kelly Ripa is likely wearing either a pair of Gianvito Rossi Gianvito 105 pumps or Gianvito Rossi Gianvito 85 Pumps on Live! Kelly does not just wear one of three or four neutral hues, no. Rather the Live! wardrobe department has her hooked up with a different color for every single outfit. I have never seen her repeat colors and I watched a lot of Live! With Kelly and Mark while home with Bebe Deux.
Ringing up at a $795 a pop, Kelly Ripa’s footwear wardrobe does not come cheap. However along with retired seasonal colorways come markdown prices; at the time of writing, several shades in the 85 and the 105 were up to forty percent off.

The 105 and 85 in the style names refer to the height of the heel in millimeters. 105 millimeters is equal to about 4.13 inches and 85 millimeters is equal to about 3.34 inches. Both are a bit too much of a heel for me; each would put me over six feet, five inches tall.

Finally, there is a Gianvito Rossi Gianvito 70 pump available. Still standing tall on a 2.75 inch heel, it is still a formidable height. The colorways are restricted to neutrals: black suede, praline pink suede, brown suede (on markdown), and leopard print.
