Things I liked:
- Tuckernuck clear link necklace; I have big plans to wear this with a laminated linen skirt and yet-to-be-procured colorblock heels for a super mod look.
- Emilia Wickstead clearance sundress; the brand, though expensive as hell, is classic. I love the color combination of pink and red.
- Roger Vivier clearance neon pink mesh inset Belle Heels; I will wear these with the aforementioned laminated linen skirt, Fry Powers studded pearl necklace and bracelet. It will serve 1980s new wave.
- A new pair of J.Crew Control Top Tights in opaque black: necessary after wearing a hole in a pair I have been sporting for years.
What I could do without:
- The Sail to Sable midi dress; the fabric was not opaque enough to wear sans slip. What’s the point in a summer dress if you have to wear a layer beneath it? Note to buyer: It took effing forever, more than a month past the FedEx tracking confirmation, for the charge to be refunded. On top of that? Paying for the shipping back.
