Last week I signed up for early access to the Staud Sample Sale. With the exception of my 1960’s Jackie Kennedy-esque gown, I have not been moved to buy anything from the brand. I will say that I have actively discouraged friends from buying the brand, when the online product information for an item neglected to disclose the provenance of said product. That is to say that while I have felt hot and cold about Staud, there was something in my gut that said to sign up to get the early access.
I think that where the brand excels is handbags. I opened a few tabs worth of arm candy; as I reviewed the products, I noted that they were made of premium materials. Read: No vegan leather! For those who do not love a logo’d clad designer bag, Staud is a great option for an eye-catching alternative.
Due to the size constraint-free nature of handbags, I have to consciously monitor and restrict myself from indulging in them. However, I was immediately struct by the punchy green awning stripes splashed across swim, wovens, and handbags, and the unique shapes of the lattermost. I love the tie in of the tan leather; it will go great with my Oran sandals this summer and beyond.
Who knows when the Staud Sample Sale will end? I will say early access started this past Thursday. While the sale has been picked over, I have noticed that there have been items added to the Sample Sale throughout the weekend.
