I have said it before and I will say it again. Peanuts triggers a massive sense of nostalgia for me, especially around this time of year. About four years ago, I started leaning into purchasing apparel silkscreened with Snoopy and Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang for my oldest, then-only. Until ordering the Stubbs & Wootton black slippers featuring a Valentine’s themed Charlie Brown tree and iconic Sally Brown and Lucy van Pelt, I had resisted purchasing anything for myself.
Those shoes would end up being the only thing I have purchased for myself featuring the characters, but I still cannot see a child’s style featuring the Peanuts gang, without taking pause to consider whether it should fine a place in the boys’ closet.
From adult styles, to children’s, to accessories, and home, there are so many styles on the market that discernment is necessary.
