Embellished Slim Wide Leg Jean

I am wearing embellished denim and studded ballet flats like it is the year 2000.

I completely missed the embellished denim trend of the year 2000 because back then, denim with rhinestones were only released in standard range clothing. Cut to 2016, and I ordered these denim; I have long since retired them as the cut was just way too skinny. Because I was never satisfied with the embellished denim that was offered in my size, I have always had a sense of FOMO about it.

Lesser these days though! I found a tall-ish cut pair of slim wide leg denim at J.Crew Factory. They are still cut shorter, and I wear them cropped with a pair of flats. The only thing that could outdo these are a pair of extra long slouchy bootcut, with rhinestone embellishment.

I bet Abercrombie & Fitch could deliver.

I am wearing these jeans in a size 33 long and I especially enjoy how roomy they are.

Last spring, I wrote a post on two pairs of black point flats, and linked further styles in a variety of hues. The high end pair in the comparison was the Christian Louboutin Mamadrague Flats. While doing market research for the post, I spied the most beautiful pair of Mamadrague Flats in floral satin. This is not about the floral satin color way though. I found a pair of Mamadrague Flats in pale pink adorned with studs that had recently been released via The Outnet.

I am wearing these flats in a size 42. I initially wore them to an event at an art gallery for just over an hour. I then wore them the following Monday to work. Only after a few thousand steps clocked, did the flats wear blisters on my heels. Despite the ailments, the break in period was relatively mild. Nevertheless, I will wait to see how the leather version breaks in before I entertain acquiring the satin version.
