Last week, I took my first spin class in almost two years. Before that, I had not been on a stationary bike for about a decade. In that time, I completely forget how much I enjoyed it.
Spin classes have changed a lot in the last decade plus. Back then, instructors did not incoporate choreography to the degree that they do these days. I refrained from engaging in much of the choreography, as I just wanted to start getting comfortable in the saddle again.
New to the spin class was the addition of weights. I loved that portion of the class. Enough to sign up for next week’s class at least. Hopefully next week’s mad schedule does not get in the way of going.
