J.Crew Factory Puff-Sleeve Mini

What I wore out to a gallery night in Philadelphia, from Chestnut Hill to Old City…

the j.crew factory embroidered puff-sleeve mini dress

As always, I was thrilled to see that this dress was available in tall. The puff sleeves of this dress are what initially colored me jazzed about the dress. Aside from that, the tone on tone pattern and the pockets secured the order. The cotton fiber of the dress and the fact that it is lined is what made me hit order. I have washed it in cold water, line dry since the dress has been added in the line up.

Not only that but it is available in four colorways; in addition to the sunny yellow, hydrangea blue, soft pink, and bright white. I do not typically go for yellow and that is the exact reason that I ordered this dress in the color. This hue is filling a sartorial hole in my closet.

the jack rogers original sandal

I forgot how much I love a Jack Rogers sandal. At the peak of the style, I had nearly ten colorways. There was a Jack Rogers for every workday, every occasion, every night out, every outfit.

In my current state, with being a bit chubbier than usual, the Jack Roger’s sandal is more flattering on my legs and feet than any other sandal I own, from the strappy A. Emery to the Sarah Flint lace up varieties. These days I am deferring to the style that I spent my twenties sporting.

I am wearing the Jack Rogers sandels in a size nine and a half.
