When I got pregnant with my first son, I was more concious than ever than what I was putting in and on my body. One of the easiest switches I made was to Megababe Deodorant. This product took me through my first pregnancy and these days the rosy smell of Rosy Pits takes me back to that particular moment in time. The deodorant just worked.
Cut to the tail end of the pandemic, specifically spring 2022. I had stopped using deodorant altogther as I was staying inside in social isolation. Eventually my body did not particularly need it, or I and my family, was not bothered by my body, sans deodorant. However, I started to use it during our spring visit to the states and it left me with a suspect itchy rash. I don’t think I developed an allergy in that time; I do think that the formula changed.
Did the deodorant that took me through first pregnancy change its formula?
seriously.
I have at least two tubes of Rosy Pits at home; I previously stocked up on them. This past week, I gave them one more try as I had just finished a bottle of Aesop’s Spray Deodorant. And the rash was back!
Does anyone know if the Megababe’s Rosy Pits formula changed? (I already asked Reddit.)
