High End Hippie

The moment I saw the tie dye collection from Tory Burch, I was all in. Sign me up. I wrote about the tunic being on my wish list several months ago, as well as other items in the collection. While the tunic does not have any stretch in it, there is a hidden zipper beneath an arm, which allows one to get in and out of the tunic with ease, no matter how much you have unintentionally bulked up your shoulders. Speaking on behalf of a friend.

The sunglasses are perfection. Blue lenses and gold arms? That is slam dunk in the form of shades. I am as excited to wear them these days, as I was when they first came in the mail. I wrote about how I had passer’s remorse on them once they disappeared from the online store. Cue me implementing all FBI-level search tactics in order to find a pair. Finally, I just called the store, they had a pair in stock, and several days later they were in my sunglass storage box.

The last time I wore the shorts was two weeks ago, and then last Indian summer. I can tell you that I have worn these at least once a week, and all 4th of July weekend. I love that they have a longer inseam as far as denim cutoffs go. Especially since these days, brands tend to release denim cutoffs that rival the length of boycut short underwear, I am thankful that I can find a pair with inseam lengths that provide more coverage.
