Does your style differ from your nine-to-five to your weekend, and if so, how?

My nine-to-five style is slightly different from my weekend style. My nine-t0-five includes graduate school so I dress casual but put together. As an Architecture student, we tend to dress with flare and let our personalities show through. Most students just wear all black, but I like to switch it up with different colors and cropped silhouettes. I don’t typically wear any of my nicer clothes because I am constantly around different materials to make models so I don’t what to ruin my clothes. For a review, I definitely wear out my nice blazers and trousers with a fun shoe. On the weekend, depending on the weather and what I am doing, I dress up more! I usually try to wear the clothes that I can’t wear at school. If I am having a really busy weekend, I will dress down more to feel extra comfortable while working.

Who are your style influences and what qualities about them impact you?

My style influences are actually other influencers on Instagram! I love following Carin Olsson of @parisinfourmonths and Aimee Song of @songofstyle. I love their laid back take to fashion while still keeping it trendy with certain items of clothing or accessories. For more inspiration, I love looking at Alyssa Coscarelli of @alyssainthecity and Maria Bernad of @maria_bernad. They have very eclectic styles that make me rethink how I could possibly put together an outfit or change up my look with certain color palettes or accessories. I use Instagram as a tool for inspiration. I never feel down while looking at it, despite the harmful effects of social media. To me, its a digital magazine of what real life people are wearing- a constant source of inspiration.

If you could only wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?

If I could wear one outfit for the rest of my life it would be a pair of high-waisted denim and a striped tee with my white sneakers. I know super basic, but honestly this combination never goes out of style. It will be constant for years and years to come and not to mention, it is super comfortable.

Who is your photographer and what camera does he/she use?

I actually have a few different photographers. My main one is my boyfriend, Luis, and he uses my Canon Ti6 Rebel camera. We love taking nicely curated shots for my outfit photos. Another person I turn to is my friend and fellow blogger, Audra Koch of @audrakoch. We use my Canon and take photos of each other in different parts of the city when we hang out together. If both my boyfriend and Audra are unavailable, I usually get my one of friends who is with me at the moment to take a quick snapshot of me. Sometimes I bring my camera and sometimes it’s just my iPhone 8 plus.
