Here we are on the flip side of the year and my experiment with less. Demonstrating restraint when it comes to shopping has been an eye opening exercise. I came to terms with some of the reasons I shop and I should probably discuss them with a therapist; definitely not on the blog.
I will say that clothes {and other material possessions} will not love you back.
And yet, I made an online order from Lands’ End. While it started as a purchase of a chambray shirt for my husband and a color block hoodie for the Pamper Pirate, I slipped in two sets of marked down pajamas and a three pack of scrunchies from the Draper James collaboration.
I also bought a pair of Sarah Flint Natalie flats in the loveliest shade of lavender, a Hobo Lauren wallet, two Jennifer Behr scrunchies, and a pair of Stubbs & Wootton loafers, all on sale. Yeah, I bit it.
This past week, I finally received two caftans that I ordered from the La Vie Style House Memorial Day sale.
