This week I ordered a pair of J.Crew block sandals that we previously sold out in my size. I had been stalking out the sandals after discovering them via Fashionista. Not that I am one for neutrals – hello my acid bright color trip of a closet – but these make me delightfully nostalgic for 1998 J.Crew.
I also ordered two pairs of Petite Plume pajamas after the set I ordered for the Pamper Pirate arrived (see below). They were marked down and yet, I sprung for a monogram on each.
I resisted the La Vie Style House summer 3 rollout, despite how freaking good it is.
Several parcels arrived last week. The Vitruvi diffuser and the Hobo Lauren wallet are essentially replacing my old Vitruvi diffuser (due to the Pamper Pirate breaking it) and my old Hobo Lauren wallet (it was a few years old and it was time).
I haven’t bought a bougie candle in awhile. Trish McEvoy Wild Blueberry Vanilla candle has been a favorite indulgence since I discovered and subsequently splurged on it, thanks to the kind associate at the Walnut Street (Philadelphia) Bluemercury. To have the spy wax candle’s scent fill up our Kazakhstan flat makes me feel like I am once again at home on the east coast.
Are we going through a scrunchie renaissance? As someone who needs her hair pulled back while getting down to business, I find scrunchies kinder to my hair and my scalp. I added two from the Jennifer Behr x Loveshackfancy collaboration to my collection. So Berger wasn’t that far off for the female lead in his novel. Take that Carrie Bradshaw.
Lastly, the Pamper Pirate’s Petite Plume pajamas arrived and not that he needs an outfit to look adorable, but these just up the quotient.
