I think this is the fifth time that this particular caftan has popped up on my blog, which is nothing to say compared to how many times I have worn it ever.
the Ro’s Garden Clorinda Kaftan
You might notice that the length of this caftan appears shorter in my photos than that in product photos. While it is true that I am taller than average and as such, the caftan hits higher on my leg, I also had the caftan shortened. It was a devastating day when tragedy struck and I dropped a bottle of Essie dark red nail polish on the ground outside my parents’ house. It shattered and splattered on the hem of the green print.
I could not remove the Essie. In a stroke of genius, I inspected the hem and confirmed that the offending Essie only affected a few inches worth of fabric. I realized I could simply have the caftan taken up. As soon as I returned to DC, I brought it to my tailor who shortened the caftan, eliminating all traces of the lacquer.
