Ro’s Garden Encore II

I hope block prints never go out of style.

the Ro’s Garden short dress

The empire waist makes it perfect for eating / drinking a bit too much and scampering about in warm weather. Initially I was concerned that it might be too short, but it exceeds fingertip length. (There is a sister style available with a longer hemline and the same print.) It arrived with a slip, which is an underrated wardrobe necessity that I will be wearing with more than just this frock. I like it both buttoned up to the top and leaving the buttons open. And again, can we talk about the block print? It is everything.

Though this dress is shorter than I typically wear, I love it for the dog days of summer! However having the extra layer of a short slip is crucial for the moments when the wind rears its head (see exhibit A).
