I know I say this every season, but who in the hell is in charge over at Banana Republic?
There are so many pieces I will sport at the office upon my return stateside. The hunter green wool suiting is available in tall and that particular shade can work for autumn through spring. Sign me up for the camel dress with the darting around the waist. While I am buying that, don’t mind if I also order the matching blazer. I will also buy the matching pencil skirt and cropped cigarette pant to complete the suit and maximize options.
Let’s discuss the leather pieces. Full candor: the shorts and the skirts are not available in tall. The skirts being midi-length makes a tall size range a moot point. I have the shorts in suede and the need for tall length is not that necessary as the standard size comes in a relatively modest five inch inseam. This leather is metallic; make the exception.
I have no clue who is in charge of Banana Republic Womens, but damn if she (I like to imagine a she is in charge) is not completely killing it.
