Fall Fair Isle + Fringe

Lately, I have been coveting fringe trim, leather buckle wrap wool plaid skirts. I imagine chasing the Pamper Pirate through the park in one of these bad boys, paired with a fair isle sweater in the complimentary color palette. Nope, it does not have to match and really should not in order to make maximum autumnal impact. Because of the mini length of the skirts on my not-so-mini length legs, the only acceptable footwear is a flat. Specifically, this outfit needs to be worn with a suede driving loafer, preferably serving at the pop of color for the outfit. My eye is on the goldenrod shade.

Omg, did I just pick out your Thanksgiving outfit?

You are welcome.

And as a bonus, I am sharing a dress with similar fringe and leather buckle detail and a skirt with a similar fringe and leather buckle detail, both which would look fantastic either layered beneath or paired with one of the fair isle sweaters and in the case of the former, over a button down or at least a collar. Rather than with a pair of driving loafers, I would pair both this dress and skirt with a very low profile ankle boot. Proportions, people!
