It was a chill 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Astana throughout the past week. Normally, in my past life stateside, this would be cold enough to make me shy away from an outdoor run. This week, though, I jumped at the chance to go for a quick jog through the park nearly every day.
I cannot get over how fantastic a cold run feels. Next level amazing, actually. So refreshing. I knew my perspective on temperature has changed over the past two years; I will never complain about the weather ever again, once we return stateside. Double downing on that, I think I am officially a cold weather running lifer, if only sub-thirty minute runs.
