Year of Less (349/365)

J.Crew had an insane sale this week, and I ordered a ton for the Pamper Pirate and my husband to be shipped directly to the east coast. We will not have to pack it up only to bring it back stateside. In addition to two tissue turtlenecks and a pair of tights, I bought a shirt for myself. It is from the Marie Marot collection for J.Crew. It is on the pricey side and it is not available in tall, so I am unsure of whether it will fit someone as tall as myself. Feedback-wise, it is getting mixed reviews on the website. I had this item shipped to me abroad in the case I need to return it, rather than having the slam dunk, sure-to-work purchased delivered to my friend’s house on the east coast for our 2023 return.

And then I ordered the organza shirt from Banana Republic. The tall option in my size came back in stock and I jumped at it and two sets of sweatbands and wristbands. I have big plans for integrating the accessories into half marathon training.

As for incoming parcels, everything has kind of been a disappointing. I am returning both of the J.Crew Louisa Lady Jackets, as I ordered the style in a size 12 and a 14. I was hoping that the cropped length would not be as cropped as it is. Alas, it gives off bolero circa 2005 vibes. Tall sizing really is necessary when shopping J.Crew. Back the jackets go!

Also going back to Net-a-Porter is the Lisa Marie Fernandez cardigan and two piece swimsuit. For the amount I spent, the buckle on the top felt really cheap. Since I am not keeping the swimsuit, I will not keep the cardigan either.
