Whatever head cold I got while brunching at the Ritz on Christmas Eve was at its worst the two first days of the new year, as it kept me awake into late night. I finally took the cue and tried to take it easy during those days, and finally booked a visit to see our healthcare provider. Holiday hours. I needed to at least treat the symptoms of what I was experiencing until this thing ran its course.

Speaking of running, not even a positive attitude could keep me from needing a break from running. Instead, I opted for weighted workouts that I could do from home.
