For over the past week, I have been one-on-one with the Pamper Pirate when he has not been at daycare. However, at nearly two miles each way, it still feels like quite the hike to walk from our new home to his daycare. And back for me, as I have to settle into my home office by the time ten am rolls around. As I am the parent who is responsible for drop off and pick ups, that is about an hour and a half / four mile walk bookending my workday.
As I mentioned last week, I decreased my Barry’s membership. My time is tighter and the studio is farther away from our house than what is ideal so actually getting to a class is a huge treat for me. However, as long as I am clearing four miles a day on foot, half of which while pushing a stroller, frequently in 80 to 90 degree heat, I do not feel guilty about not taking thrice-weekly Barry’s classes.
Nevertheless, I made it to one class this week.
