This week I had the goal of getting to Barry’s at least thrice: Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. With a doctor’s appointment on Monday, a matinee of Barbie on Tuesday, and movers coming with furniture as well as a looming deadline due on Thursday, I knew I wanted to arrange for exercise on the remaining days.
Last Saturday’s class in which I was on the double floor, left me incredibly sore. As Saturdays feature upper body classes, I was not expecting back-to-back-to-back-to-back sets of squats and alternating back lunges. I am taking the soreness as a cue that my muscles have grown accustomed to the two mile flat walk to and from the Pamper Pirate’s daycare drop off. As such, I need to make a better effort to get to a Barry’s class or at least some sort of studio class that will push me outside of the walking routine.
