eBay Closet Sale

For the first time ever, my husband and I have everything under one roof. No longer are items in storage purgatory. No longer are we split between households. No longer do I have a stockpile of parcels in my east coast U.S. address. No longer!

I started selling items on eBay back in 2012 when I started to use the e-commerce site to make supplementary income while I was in graduate school. Cut to a seemingly irreversible weight gain and a come to Jesus moment and I decided to purge my closet of everything that no longer fits no matter how much I wish otherwise. I had so many of my clothes get me through momentous events in my life – interviews, presentations, graduations, and engagement – that they have become symbols of growth and success.

That said, our closets are bursting at the seams, mostly due to my own clothing hoarding tendencies. Even if an item does not fit, it still might spark joy, and I was probably holding onto it because of the hope of someday having a daughter to whom I would be able to gift my archives. Cut to a few moments after I found out I was expecting another boy, I realized it was time to clear out those pieces no matter how dear. Time to make room for the second little!

With that, I moved my closet sale to eBay. More like eBae. Below are a few items that have popped up across the blog throughout the years that are also up for grabs! My lack of closet space is your gain because these items are priced to go, go, go. If you reference that Lucindervention sent you, I will knock eight percent off the merchandise price. It all must go!
