Nearly a year after ordering it, this Boden mini kaftan is finally making an appearance on the blog.

I bought this kaftan for the Fourth of July holiday last year. Without the slip and with a bright red tank suit, it served as an ideal swimsuit coverup for the tour of Marblehead by boat. The kaftan is linen and has side vents which makes it a fantastic summer go-to.
It comes with a tie to be worn at the waist but I am clearly wearing it without. The style does not have belt loops of any sort to loop the tie through and I would prefer not to have to manage a loose piece of fabric. I prefer the kaftan sans tie just because it is more streamlined.
While this print is from last summer, the dress has been reissued in several more prints. I have my eye on it in the Amalfi Coast print, alas it always immediately sells out.
Aside from regular length, Boden offers select dresses in long length as opposed to pants and jumpsuits, which are available in tall size range. I am wearing this kaftan in a US size 10 long.
