It became clear to me last week that with hitting Barry’s classes as often as I did post pregnancy, I will need more athletic socks. With that, I ordered a set from Lululemon, as well as a marked down Scuba hoodie. I find myself reaching for my light blue Scuba hoodie whenever it is clean, alas I jumped at the lavender hue version as long as it is on sale and available in my size.
I had a gift card for Bloomingdale’s and have been on the lookout for a frame for my oldest son’s school photo. I landed on this fun blue lucite one. B-lucite one? Full candor, I hope the frame works and arrives sans damage because I just wanted to use and get rid of that damn gift card, as I had a bad experience with the customer service at Bloomingdale’s – I could write a book on my last experience with the department store – and I am looking forward to never shopping there again.
I am returning this dress that I ordered from Banana Republic last week. I will say that the cotton-silk fabric and the color are gorgeous. Even though the small tall fits, the style is not flattering on me. All the gathered fabric makes me look larger. I thought I was going to get around the copious fabric by taking advantage of the elastic waistline andgoing down a size but that approach did not work. I am glad I went ahead and tried the dress because I debated doing so over the course of several days. At least I can now rule it out.
