Jack Rogers x Draper James II

Jack Rogers and Draper James are back at it with another collaboration. Perfect for this spring and summer, this collection of three pairs are all sandals of the classic OG and the embroidered variety. In my experience, Jack Rogers sandals run true to size; however the leather does stretch widthwise and the breaking in period can be brutal.

Pro tip: Never wear Jack Rogers for an extended time during their maiden voyage.

I wore my first pair of Jack Rogers sandals to Foxfield Spring Races circa 2009. After a hot, hot day on the field, and spending much of that time scooting from tent to tent, I wore the most brutal blisters on my feet. Once the day-long buzz wore off and we returned to our house, not only did I take a cool shower but I soaked my feet in a chilly bath. I was limping for a week after. Learn from my lesson and break in your sandals on a low stakes day. Those sandals would go on to be my go-to for casual Fridays and Sunday fundays that following summer.

This is not the first time the two classic American brands have released collections. You may recall the loafers, duckboots, and sandals of collaborations past. If not, after the jump, a blast for the past with the product photos of those collections.
