In / My Purse

I ordered the Louis Vuitton Noé handbag after a particularly tough day one-one-one with the sixth month old Pamper Pirate. We were also six months into the pandemic and I was having a rough time with the lack of adult interaction. Naturally a designer handbag was the answer. Or at least my reward. Since then, it the Noé has become my summer default handbag.

what is in my bag

  • These Bluetooth earphones keep me occupied on cross town walks. Right now, the podcasters are on fire and I am so enjoying content.
  • My Louis Vuitton Accessory Pochette and all of the items in it, previously discussed at nauseam.
  • I have said it before and I will say it again: this Hobo wallet keeps me organized. It holds all of the things: all currency, membership cards, several types of identification, and copious receipts between the magnetic closure. The Hobo Lauren wallet has been the only one I carried since my first one circa 2007. Since that initial red one, I have been through three others in the following seventeen years. It sounds like I am burning through wallets, but each wallet averages serving for more than four years each.
  • My eyes are photophobic so a pair of sunglasses is nonnegotiable. Right now, I am carrying my Lapima Lisa shades.
  • I carry an umbrella for the rogue rain shower.
  • Sky’s out, thighs out! Time to break out the Megababe Thigh Rescue.

the megababe thigh rescue

Thigh Rescue is necessary for avoiding thigh chafe. I have used this not only for walking around cities – the District, Astana, Philadelphia- but also for running and training for a half marathon. It proves itself helpful time and time again. Have you ever suffered from run inflicted thigh chafe? I have nightmares from a particular episode, circa 2013.

I have several sticks stashed around the house, in the stroller organizers, and in my purse. I never regret bringing along a stick.
