After bookmarking this cotton Emilia Wickstead number, I spent several weeks stalking it. First, I witnessed the last one in my size go out of stock. Nevertheless, I kept it in my bookmark bar and checked for availability whenever I opened a Chrome browser window.
Not even a week after the dress went completely out of stock, must one in my size have been returned. I continued to stalk the marked down to 530 dollar dress. Last week a promotion hit several of the Emilia Wickstead sale pieces on MyTheresa, including said dress. I placed order so effing fast.
My other Emilia Wickstead dress is a UK size 18 / US size 14, I should have gone down a size in it and will likely get it tailored. I ordered this dress in the largest size available in this style, a UK size 14 / US size 10. The dress description includes intel that it runs large and the nature of the style appears boxy.
I slipped it on immediately after FedEx dropped the parcel. It is indeed boxy; however as it fits in the sleeves and grazes the tops of my knees, I would not go down a size. The only other note is that I will be wearing it over a slip, for the office at least.
