I wore the Loveshackfancy Corbella Dress on the blog a few summers ago, and it is finally cycling around again. I should have worn it last summer because with the empire waistline, it is especially accommodating of my midsection and what is leftover from the baby bump.
This dress is silk with cotton lining, explaining the high price tag. There is a rather high side slit, for which I employ a modesty hack: fastening a zip tie midway at the threads that connect the cotton liner to the silk shell.
I find it difficult to pair a bra with this dress, due to the unique neckline. Because of that, I tend to wear a lace bralette that, should a strap become exposed, coordinates with the dress. Unfortunately bralettes are not the most supportive underpinning.
Regardless, the Loveshackfancy Corbella Dress offers ample comfort, so much so that I spent the entire day in it. Newborn Bebe Deux even snoozed on me numerous times while I was wearing it. He even peed on it while I changed his diaper.
I’ll be sending him the dry cleaning bill.

Ever since Lilly Pulitzer teamed up with Target, I have been a major enthusiast of brand x brand collaborations. There is something about the scarcity of a limited run collection that makes me want to Add to Bag. Granted, I did not discover this particular collaboration until a solid month or two after it was released. Luckily there were several of the colorways in both the small and large hoop options available to purchase. The colorways are actually different floral prints encased in clear “Loucite.”
I ordered one of each size, this pale purple pair in this particular post being the petite version. I appreciate how lightweight Alison Lou hoop earrings are; there is no pulling down on the earlobe.
I suppose that is the beauty of “Loucite.”
