I started wearing Coola circa summer of 2020. In addition to La Roche Posay, it has proved to be a great SPF product not only for me, but for my entire family.
I bought the two sprays on a whim while I was in my local Ulta, before Memorial Day. I love the Coola Scalp & Hair Mist Sunscreen for Petit Garçon. After hitting my oldest with some Think Baby, I can be confident that he is sun protected after a few spritzes of the Coola Scalp & Hair Mist Sunscreen.
I like the Coola Setting Sunscreen Spray for myself. I opt for it in lieu of my go-to variety of Urban Decay sprays, during the summer at least. I keep both it and the Scalp & Hair Mist Sunscreen in the refrigerator, so it is quite refreshing and we do not run the risk of forgetting the spritz and having to climb back upstairs for an application.
Lastly, I wanted to find a lotion or moisturizer-like option that I could use in lieu of a lotion or moisturizer, post shower and leg shave. I ordered both the Classic and Mineral options of the body sunscreen. I knew that one bottle would not suffice for the summer so I decided to give both a shot. The winner?
For the everyday purposes of using an SPF lotion on the stems, go Classic formula all the way. I found that the Mineral version just left too much of a cool white sheen. If I were committed to having an outdoors day, on the boat, at the beach, lounging on a pool deck, this would not be an issue. Scampering about the mean city street, it looks strange.
