Challengers made a big impact on my style this past summer, specifically the present day style of character Tasha Duncan. Suddenly I needed to know what her watch was (Cartier Panthere), where I could get her espadrilles (Chanel), and what was the deal with the I Told Ya tee shirt that was passed around across characters.

The I Told Ya shirt is actually a JFK Jr. reference, as the tragically late political scion was spotted wearing it. This was a reference to his tragically late father, whose campaign collateral included buttons that said, “I Told You So.”
Jonathan Anderson, the costume designer of Challengers and head of creative at Loewe (not pronounced the Anglo-Saxon way “Low”, rather the Spanish way “Low-ay-vey”) released a few versions of the knit shirt, as both a tee and a sweatshirt, in both white and gray.

If the $300 price tag scares you away, rest assured that numerous copycats are available via Amazon.
Which one am I wearing?
Am I actually insane enough to buy a $300 tee shirt?
