Manolo Hangisi Flats

My first pair of Manolo Blanik flats proved to be more comfortable than anticipated.

I bought these shoes while they were on deep markdown circa November 2024. I had already copiously worn a pair of slingback heels from the same brand during the last bit of summer. I knew that if the heels were comfortable (enough, I rarely wear them out and about on the sidewalks) that the flats would be comfortable too.

I initially brought a pair of emergency loafers with me on the first two days I wore them to work. Surprisingly, there was not a blister to be had; the break in period was literally nil. Size-wise, I went up to a twelve in these shoes.

I saw that Banana Republic had a pair of denim with a 36.5 inch inseam and I jumped at the purchase. I bought these in the faded black wash and a classic blue wash. Usually pants tend to be more fitted throughout my thigh, not this style though. I love that they fit in the waist but are more, well relaxed throughout the leg. Also my calves love the newfound freedom that the turn from skinny denim that the market has finally provided.

I am wearing these jeans in a size twelve long. Oddly enough the long sizes are not available larger than a twelve. Also, the faded black wash fits more generously than the classic blue wash.
